The i-2 Blue is a powerful wash luminaire generating a narrow beam of light in spot position, suitable for any application requiring high output over medium and long distances. It expands the possibilities of the P-2 series by adding a more powerful beam and a narrower angle, but maintaining the standards of color consistency and seamless beam projection. Unlike the P-series, each individual lens in the i-2 Blue is related to Blue LED chips only. These optics have been designed to deliver an impressive amount of blue light when illuminating structures over medium and long distances.

LED Technology
The i-2 Blue mounts 69 Blue high-power LEDs to deliver a bright and accurate beam projection for intermediate and long-throws. The i-series optical system has been designed to offer a high lumen output at a very low power consumption. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
Diffusers and optional barndoors
The i-2 Blue is able to illuminate many different areas, since it allows the user to modify the beam angle with four different diffusers. While the 18º diffusion filter delivers a seamless controllable beam of light, 40º diffuser transforms the i-2 Blue into a powerful wide-angle luminaire. Two elliptical 60º x 10º filters can be also ordered to cover complex surfaces. Optional 4-way and 8-way barndoors add even more control and accuracy.
Internal honeycomb
For those applications where it is very important to manage maximum control over the output, the i-2 Blue can be ordered with an optional honeycomb. This internal accessory fits directly in the lens plate and surrounds all optics to eliminate undesired light spill. The honeycomb can be also useful for applications, where the light sources must be hidden from audience view.
Variants for specific needs
The i-series comprises of a range of fixtures to fulfill any project requirement. While this i-2 Blue contains only Blue LEDs and similar variants exist with only Green, only Red, only White, or even UV LEDs, the i-2 RGBW contains both Red, Green, Blue and White. IP rating
The durable IP65-rating of the i-2 Blue luminaire ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal optics and light sources, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being practically maintenance-free, makes it a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both outdoor as well as indoor events and installations.
Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Thermal management

Mounting options
The i-2 Blue can be rigged by using one or two easy-fit omega bracket with ¼ turn fasteners. It also includes a basic floor stand to increase stability, but allowing the users to access the omega locking points easily. Being fully RDM compatible, the i-2 Blue is ideal for installation in non-accessible locations. Multiple i-2 units can be rigged in optional BCC-2 and BCC-4 brackets.

This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.
