The i-5 RGBW is a powerful wash luminaire generating a narrow beam of light in spot position, suitable for any application requiring extremely high output over long distances. It expands the possibilities of the P-5 series by adding more punch and a narrower angle, but maintaining the standards of color consistency and smooth dimming. Unlike the P-series, each individual lens in the i-5 RGBW is related to one R, G, B or W LED chip only. These optics have been designed to deliver superior color mixing when illuminating structures over long distances.

LED Technology
The i-5 RGBW mounts 48 Red, 51 Green, 48 Blue and 56 White high-power LEDs to deliver a bright and accurate beam projection for long-throws. It is not only a powerful color-changing wash light but also a precise dynamic white luminaire with 2000K - 10000K color temperature control. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
Diffusers and optional barndoors
The i-5 RGBW is able to illuminate many different areas, since it allows the user to modify the beam angle with four different diffusers. While the 18º diffusion filter delivers a seamless controllable beam of light, 40º diffuser transforms the i-5 RGBW into a powerful wide-angle luminaire. Two elliptical 60º x 10º filters can be also ordered to cover complex surfaces. Optional 4-way and 8-way barndoors add even more control and accuracy.
Internal honeycomb
For those applications where it is very important to manage maximum control over the output, the i-5 RGBW can be ordered with an optional honeycomb. This internal accessory fits directly in the lens plate and surrounds all optics to eliminate undesired light spill. The honeycomb can be also useful for applications, where the light sources must be hidden from audience view.
Performance in distance
While the i-5 RGBW is designed to achieve an impressive performance for any application, this reliable luminaire has an optimum response in distances between 25 and 50 meters. This astonishing behaviour is generated by the powerful optical throw and the smart physical construction of the i-5 RGBW.
Custom color mixing
One of the big advantages of the SGM i-series technology relies in the fact that the user can always select which colors should be present in the RGB color mixing. While the i-5 RGBW contains Red, Green, Blue and White, it is also possible to order an i-5 luminaire with only Blue, only Red, only Green, only White, or even UV LEDs. IP rating
The durable IP65-rating of the i-5 RGBW luminaire ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal optics and light sources, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being practically maintenance-free, makes it a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both outdoor as well as indoor events and installations.
Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Photometrics
This powerful wash delivers no less than 21527 verified lumens with all LEDs on. However, one of the key advantages of the i-5 series is the impressive brightness over long distances. The i-5 RGBW outputs 24644 luxes at 5 meters, 6161 luxes at 10 meters, and 246 luxes at 50 meters, which is a breathtaking amount of light for only 240W.
Thermal management
To achieve optimum performance of the LEDs at all times, this bright and accurate luminaire is optimized to manage heat impact through SGM’s unique thermal management technology. The technology consists of a uniquely designed body and heat sink, which ensures optimal cooling of the LED chips. Additionally, the special aluminum alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion while the fan-assisted cooling ensures optimal performance at any time and under any conditions (such as variable temperatures, limited airflows, confined installation spaces, etc.).

Mounting options
The i-5 RGBW can be rigged by using one or two easy-fit omega bracket with ¼ turn fasteners. It also includes a basic floor stand to increase stability, but allowing the users to access the omega locking points easily. Being fully RDM compatible, the i-5 RGBW is ideal for installation in non-accessible locations. Multiple i-5 units can be rigged in optional BCC-2 and BCC-4 brackets.

ThermalDriveTM
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.
TruColorTM
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.
