LED Technology
The P-5 W mounts 44 high-power 10W cool white LEDs offering a bright and accurate beam projection with a color temperature of 6400K. The P-5 W also includes a very accurate dimming performance both in high and low values. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.

Optics and optional barndoors
The P-5 W is able to illuminate many different areas, since it allows the user to modify the beam angle with three different interchangeable lenses. While the 43º lens kit delivers an almost 1:1 performance, the 21º kit offers a more controllable coverage for medium throws. The 15º lens kit concentrates all the light output into one point, to create a powerful spot over long distances. Optional 4-way and 8-way barndoors add even more control and accuracy.

Performance in distance
While the P-5 W is designed to achieve an impressive performance for any application, this reliable luminaire has an optimum response in distances between 5 and 25 meters. This astonishing behavior is generated by the powerful optical throw and the smart physical construction of the P-5 W.

IP rating
The durable IP65-rating of the P-5 W ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal optics and light sources, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being practically maintenance-free, makes it a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both outdoor as well as indoor events and installations.

Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution, and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification, not only removes humidity, but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Photometrics
This powerful wash delivers 23700 verified lumens as maximum output with a 43º lens, which is an astonishing amount of light for only 435W. The intelligent temperature control with optimized cooling facilities ensures a high efficiency of the luminaire even at low noise modes.

Thermal management
 To achieve optimum performance of the LEDs at all times, this bright and accurate luminaire is optimized to manage heat impact through SGM’s unique thermal management technology. The technology consists of a uniquely designed body and heat sink, which ensures optimal cooling of the LED chips. Additionally, the special aluminum alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion while the fan-assisted cooling ensures optimal performance at any time and under any conditions (such as variable temperatures, limited airflows, confined installation spaces, etc.).

Mounting options
The P-5 W can be rigged by using one or two easy-fit omega brackets with ¼ turn fasteners. It also includes a basic floor stand to increase stability, while allowing the users to easily access the omega locking points. Being fully RDM compatible, the P-5 W is ideal for installation in non-accessible locations. Multiple P-5 W units can be rigged in optional BCC-2 and BCC-4 brackets.

ThermalDrive^TM
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDrive^TM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.

TruColor^TM
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette..
