The G-Spot Turbo POI is a high-brightness LED projector based on an optimized additive color mixing to match the highest demands of color rendering and total output. The integrated dehumidifier of the G-Spot Turbo POI ensures perfect inner cleanness of the luminaire and no accumulation of dust or externally induced particles on internal optics, gobos, or the light source unit. The G-Spot Turbo POI is the perfect solution for those who need a powerful LED spot projector with good chromaticity levels and an outstanding performance in different shades of white.

Construction
The G-Spot Turbo POI with full 'moving head' functionalities is designed and manufactured in Denmark and blends in with any contemporary or historical architecture. It features FX wheel, 4-facet rotating prism, ultra-high-speed strobe, linear frost, and smooth iris. Base and heat sinks are made from extruded or pressure cast marine grade aluminum, Oxsilan ® pre-treated, and powder coated to corrosion class C5-M marine grade. The yoke and fan covers are made of durable materials, including impact and UV resistant P6.

LED Technology
This tough and reliable LED luminaire includes a powerful Red - Lime - Blue LED engine to enhance lumen output and increase the quality of the light. The G-Spot Turbo POI delivers a staggering 19973 lumen output, and is able to create bright and soft colors but also the well-known SGM RGB mixing by using the Green Color Mode feature. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.

White performance
The G-Spot Turbo POI is the brightest and most qualified spot in its range. By using the new RLB additive mixing, the G-Spot Turbo POI is able to output impressive high-CRI whites while maintaining the 2000K - 10000KK color temperature control.

Colors
One of the big advantages of the G-Turbo series is the extended color palette. This is caused by the usage of Lime LEDs instead of the Green LEDs available in the G-Spot. Now, it is possible to achieve warmer pastel colors, richer yellows, and a wider variety of green shades. With the special dichroic technology, the G-Spot Turbo POI is also able to create deep saturated greens and even more contrasted colors.

Optics
With a 8° to 43°º zoom range, plus an additional pseudo zoom down to 1º, the G-Spot Turbo POI can illuminate any building and is the ideal luminaire for medium and large outdoor applications. Being water, dirt, and sand proof, the internal optics are always clean to get the maximum brightness from the light source. Worst case scenario, the front lens must merely be wiped off, effectively eliminating the need for cleaning and maintenance, which is a huge time and cost saver.

Durability
The durable IP66-rating of the G-Spot Turbo POI luminaire ensures that the fixture is kept free of externally induced particles and liquids on internal electronics, optics, and light sources, including acidic air pollution, making it ideally suited for near- and offshore areas with high salinity. Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a Gore-Tex ® membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. POI products installed on permanent installations must always be powered on, so dehumidifiers perform properly. Learn more about dehumidification

Sharp gobo projection
One of the big benefits of the G-Spot Turbo POI is its sharp and detailed gobo projection, with no color aberration in the borders or hotspots in the center of the beam. The G-Spot Turbo POI uses glass gobos not affected by the heat, so the pattern is always fully focused. Since the RLB colors in the G-Spot are bright and contrasted, it is possible for the user to combine them with the two rotatory gobo wheels without losing much output. This gives you ultimate freedom and unmatched possibilities to create unsurpassed large-scale effects and spectacular animations and patterns.

Thermal management
To achieve optimum performance of the LEDs at all times, this bright and accurate luminaire is optimized to manage heat impact through SGM's unique thermal management technology. The technology consists of a uniquely designed body and heat sink, which ensures optimal cooling of the LED chips. Additionally, the special aluminum alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion while the fan-assisted cooling ensures optimal performance at any time and under any conditions (such as variable temperatures, limited airflows, confined installation spaces, etc.).

Mounting options
The G-Spot Turbo POI can be mounted in any direction. Additionally, M-10 bolts are included, which ensures the fixture can be tightly screwed to a surface, protecting it from both vandalism and theft. The M-10 bolts are suitable for any kind of custom-made bracket and are included with all POI fixtures. Handles can be found in the base as well to help users mount the fixture.

Thermal
DriveTM
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.

TruColorTM
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.

DryTechTM
SGM's integrated patented Dehumidification process eliminates humidity and breaks down corrosive molecules deriving from polluted air to avoid destructive corrosion. Inbuilt dehumidifiers constantly remove trapped hydrogen from inside of the lighting fixture in a solid estate electrolytic process with no moving parts. The DryTechTM procedure is also based on a Ingress Protection rating of 65 or 66 (depending on the fixture), intended as a full protection against dust and other particles, while ensuring protection against direct water jets.

A great example of this is the SGM G-7 Spot LED Moving Head, with IP-66 rating and active dehumidification. It is extremely durable in all sorts of conditions, with electronics and optics protected by SGM’s exclusive DryTech™ system and a robust design. Our advanced technology ensures the interior of the fixture is preserved from external elements like water, dust, dirt, mud, sand, airborne pollution, extreme temperatures, and humidity, all of them very common at events or music festivals. Even though the G-7 Spot is perfect for touring and other outdoor events, these unique features also make it suitable for indoor installations and events, where long lifespan and low maintenance are must-haves.
 

Ultimate stage light testing

To be able to guarantee the durability and the best performance possible, all SGM stage lights are pushed to the limits in different ways. We lock up the fixtures in a salt chamber, we sandblast the lenses, we apply high-pressure washers over them, and we test them in very high and low temperatures. Sometimes, we even encase the fixtures in a block of ice before smashing it with a sledgehammer. It is literally a torture, but we are really focused on building fixtures that rental companies can rely on.

Products such as the SGM P-6 LED Wash or the SGM Q-8 DualSource™ LED Strobe Flood, are specifically designed and tested for continued rental use in all-weather environments. These rock-solid IP66 rated fixtures include an integrated dehumidifier, a sealed IP67 wet base, and our next-gen ThermalDrive™ cooling system.
