LED Technology
The Q-7 is equipped with 2,000 high-power SMD RGBW LEDs to create a powerful and seamless wide-angle projection with a fast-feedback strobe effect. It is not only a powerful color-changing flood/blinder/strobe but also a precise dynamic white luminaire with 2000K - 10000K color temperature control. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
Wide coverage with optional accessories
The 110º beam angle of the Q-7, not only creates a remarkable strobe effect over large stages, but also a wide and rich area of light for shorter-throw purposes. The Q-7 is designed to illuminate façades, theatrical scenery, and cycloramas with a symmetric and even light projection. Optional accessories like 4-way and 8-way barndoors and filter frames add extended control and customization capabilities.
Performance over distance
While the Q-7 achieves an impressive performance in any application, this robust and reliable luminaire has an optimum response in distances between 1 and 5 meters. When used as a flood light over surfaces, the Q-7 offers a bright beam range, not only in the horizontal plane, but also in vertical coverage.
Dimming and color mixing
One of the big demands of the lighting industry is a strobe/flood light with good dimming and calibrated color mixing. That is exactly what the Q-7 delivers. Extremely high quality throughout the deep saturates as well as in its reproduction of warm pastels and subtle cold hues. The high-output and the detailed tints are further enhanced through a superior color mixing for perfectly smooth color transitions.
IP rating
The durable IP65-rating of the Q-7 ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal optics and light sources, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being practically maintenance-free, makes it a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both outdoor as well as indoor events and installations.
Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Photometrics
This powerful flood/blinder/strobe delivers more than 25163 verified lumens as maximum output. However, one of the big advantages of the Q-7 is the impressive brightness in colors. It outputs 3193 lumens in Red, 6948 lumens in Green, and 1256 lumens in Blue, which is a breathtaking amount of light for only 450W.
Continuous output and LED frequency control
The Q-7 is intended to strobe and blind audiences, however, it is also the perfect luminaire to illuminate surfaces for long-term installs where a continuous output is needed. With the Q-7 the amount of light of the scenes will not diminish over the time. Another powerful feature of the Q-7 is the flicker-free performance and the ability to change the LEDs frequency, so they can match the shutter adjustments in cameras.
Thermal management

Mounting options
The Q-7 may be rigged by using one or two easy-fit omega bracket with ¼ turn fasteners. It comes supplied with a basic floor stand to increase stability, allowing users to access the omega locking points easily. Being fully RDM compatible, the Q-7 is ideal for installation in non-accessible locations. Multiple Q-7 units may be rigged with optional BCC-2 and BCC-4 brackets.

This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.
TruColorTM
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.
