LED Technology
The Q-7 W mounts 1,000 high-power cool white SMD LEDs to create a powerful but seamless wide-angle projection and a fast-feedback strobe effect. It is not only a powerful flood/blind/strobe but also a precise white luminaire. The Q-7 W uses 16bit dimming performance, and it is completely upgradeable through firmware updates. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
Wide coverage with optional accessories
The 110º beam angle of the Q-7 W not only creates a remarkable strobe effect over large stages, but also a spacious area of light for short-throw purposes. The Q-7 W is designed to illuminate façades, tradeshows, special events, and any application that requires a super bright white flood light with a symmetric and even light projection. Optional accessories like 4-way and 8-way barndoors or filter frames add control and customization.
Performance in distance
While the Q-7 W is able to achieve an impressive performance for any application, this reliable luminaire has an optimum response in distances between 1 and 5 meters. When used as a flood light over surfaces, the Q-7 W offers a bright beam range not only in horizontal but also in vertical coverage.
IP rating
The durable IP65-rating of the Q-7 W ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal optics and light sources, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being practically maintenance-free, makes it a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both outdoor as well as indoor events and installations.
Dehumidification
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Photometrics
This powerful flood/blind/strobe delivers a staggering 48274 verified lumens as maximum output, which is a breathtaking amount of light for only 455W. The Q-7 W offers a bright output in 5700K; the perfect color temperature for TV and film purposes, but also to be combined with sunlight in car shows or fashion events.
Continuous output and LED frequency control
Since the Q-7 W is intended to strobe and blind audiences, but also to illuminate surfaces for long-term installs, continuous output is needed. With the Q-7 W the amount of light of the scenes will not be affected over the time. Another powerful feature of the Q-7 W is the ability to change the LEDs frequency, so they can match the shutter adjustments in cameras.
Thermal management

Mounting options
The Q-7 W can be rigged by using one or two easy-fit omega bracket with ¼ turn fasteners. It also includes a basic floor stand to increase stability, but allowing the users to access the omega locking points easily. Being fully RDM compatible, the Q-7 W is ideal for installation in non-accessible locations. Multiple Q-7 W units can be rigged in optional BCC-2 and BCC-4 brackets.

ThermalDriveTM
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.
TruColorTM
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.
